I recently had a baby boy-Owen-he is absolutely delicious! I practiced yoga throughout my low risk pregnancy and felt great! My circumstances allowed me to deliver naturally with a midwife and a doula. During the delivery I followed a hypno-birthing plan relaxing my body and mind through breathing and meditation to surrender to my bodies instincts.
Teaching prenatal yoga to moms-to-be is a gift. It is an honor to be able to guide moms to relax in their beautifully changing and growing bodies, and to prepare for labor and delivery. I have studied prenatal yoga extensively, and recently went through pregnancy. I think the conversation surrounding prenatal yoga is important to understand as there clear facts, as well as many opinions and lots of false information about moms-to-be practicing yoga.
I offer a vinyasa point of view for pregnant women. I believe-with practice and skill-it is possible to teach pregnant women in a regularly scheduled yoga class. I teach prenatal yoga regularly scheduled classes and in Yoga WorldReach\'s: The Blissipline of Inner Power Teacher Training-The Art of Adaption, for aspiring yoga teachers.
I am available to teach prenatal yoga classes and workshops to pregnant mothers and yoga teachers.
