Lottery ticket numbers of life
13. 50. 7th. 3rd. 8. 13.5. 16. 60. 21. 10.
Sort of the lottery ticket numbers of my life. Milestones for me and my loved ones in just the last month alone.
It’s all coming and it’s all going, as the teachings tell us. Tomorrow, next week, next month, next year bring new numbers, new milestones, IF we are lucky.
Time shows us eventually that all of our likes and dislikes (raga and dvesa) are like the tide and really on their own journey. And since we are guaranteed nothing in this life journey, its almost like we are lucky to get to connect with them …. at all.
And it’s just so darn easy to get attached to what we like and also to push away what we don’t. I do my best to open my palms to the comings and goings.
For now, it seems I’m taking another pause from teaching inside at CorePower. I’m also postponing my September Ojai retreat. You can find me now at YogaSoup where class sizes are small, doors and windows are open and masks are worn inside.
In addition to continuing to offer on-demand practices, I’m also working on organizing lots of classes and supportive content for you on a new website for a better online experience….especially since home practice has maybe never been more important.
I hope to continue to support you in the practices of yoga. Relaxing our mind. Breathing practices to move life force as evenly as possible through and through. Supporting our body and all that moves through it so it can be as clear as possible. Aligning our being with what matters most. And so much more.
So I’m here with open palms, feeling into the undulations of life with sadness and excitement, patience and anxiety, honesty and gratitude offering sweaty and soulful practices for you,
